1.Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service (hereinafter, “Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you, the user (hereinafter referred to as “you” or “user”), and GlobalPokerStaffLtd (referred to as “we,” “our,” or “us”), a staffing agency duly registered in the United Kingdom. These Terms govern your access to and use of our website located atwww.globalpokerstaff.comand all related services, platforms, or applications offered by Global Poker Staff Ltd (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing, browsing, registering, or otherwise utilizing our Services, you expressly acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy and any other policies or guidelines that may be applicable. You hereby represent that you have the legal capacity and authority to enter these Terms.
If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions contained herein, in their entirety and without modification, you are expressly prohibited from accessing or using any aspect of our Services, and you must immediately discontinue use.

2.OverviewofServices
Global Poker Staff Ltd provides a specialized digital platform designed to facilitate engagement and potential contractual relationships between freelance poker staff (hereinafter, “freelancers”) and companies organizing poker events, casino operations, and other related hospitality and gaming venues (hereinafter, “event organizers”). Our platform enables event organizers to post staffing requests while allowing freelancers to register, apply for placements, and secure assignments aligned with their expertise.
In addition to acting as a facilitator of connections, Global Poker Staff Ltd actively negotiates conditions of work and salary on behalf of freelancers, ensuring fair and mutually agreed- upon terms that reflect industry standards and specific event requirements. Notwithstanding this involvement, Global Poker Staff Ltd operates as an intermediary only and does not constitute an employment agency nor establish an employer-employee or contractor-principal relationship with freelancers or event organizers. Under this limited role, Global Poker Staff Ltd shall not be deemed an agent, employer, or joint venture partner of freelancers or event organizers utilizing the platform.
While Global Poker Staff Ltd assists in negotiating salary terms and work conditions, any issues arising from non-payment, late payment, or other compensation disputes are outside our scope of responsibility. Freelancers and event organizers must resolve payment-related issues independently, and Global Poker Staff Ltd disclaims any liability or obligation to mediate, enforce, or intervene in such matters.
The terms of engagement, including scope of work, duties, payment, and other contractual elements are negotiated directly by Global Poker Staff Ltd with freelancers and event organizers prior to each assignment. Both freelancers and event organizers expressly agree to these Terms and any applicable policies as a binding condition of accessing our platform and services.
3.Roleof GlobalPokerStaff
Global Poker Staff Ltd functions exclusively as an intermediary service provider, governed by the principles of Section230oftheCommunicationsDecencyAct(CDA) in the United States and similar intermediary liability principles under EUDirective2000/31/EC on Electronic Commerce for European users, where applicable. As such, Global Poker Staff Ltd disclaims any responsibility for the content posted by freelancers or event organizers, as well as for the outcome of any engagements that arise from connections made through the platform.
- No Guaranteeof JobPlacements: Global Poker Staff Ltd expressly disclaims any guarantee or warranty, implied or explicit, regarding the availability, nature, duration, or frequency of job placements for freelancers. Access to and registration ontheplatform does not assure freelancers of any minimum engagement or income.
- Terms of Engagement and Contractual Independence: Global Poker Staff Ltd shall not be involved or influence over the specific terms, performance, or enforceability of any contractual agreements established between freelancers and event organizers. All agreements regarding payment, duties, schedule, and work conditions are formed independently between freelancers and event organizers. Accordingly, Global Poker Staff Ltd is not a party to such agreements and assumes no responsibility for enforcing, arbitrating, or mediating these terms.
- Disclaimer of Liability for Disputes: Global Poker Staff Ltd shall not be held liable for any claims, damages, or disputes arising from breaches, misunderstandings, or disagreements between freelancers and event organizers. This includes, but is not limited to, claims related to non-payment, unsatisfactory performance, termination, or breach of contract. In accordance with Section2(1) ofthe Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 (UK), Global Poker Staff’s liability for negligence or breach of duty is expressly limited to the fullest extent permitted by law, and we do not assume liability for acts or omissions of freelancers or event
organizers.
- Third-Party Content: As an intermediary service, Global Poker Staff Ltd is not responsible for the content posted by freelancers or event organizers, including job postings, profiles, or event descriptions, in accordance with Clause 4.6 of the EUE-CommerceDirective(2000/31/EC). Users of the platform are solely responsible for the content they provide and must comply with applicable laws.
In accessing or using our platform, you acknowledge that Global Poker Staff Ltd is not liable for any financial, reputational, or contractual damages associated with your engagements. All users are advised to independently review and negotiate the terms of each engagement and, where appropriate, seek professional or legal advice prior to entering into any agreement. By accepting these Terms, you expressly waive any claim against Global Poker Staff Ltd arising from or related to any disputes, misunderstandings, or performance issues linked to engagements facilitated through our platform.
4.Registration and Membership
- Freelancers: Freelancers interested in joining our platform must complete the registration process, which includes submitting specified personal and professional documentation. Such documentation may include identification, proof of qualifications, employment history, and other information necessary to determine eligibility. All submitted documentation is subject to individual review for accuracy, authenticity, and compliance with our standards. Our services are free of charge. However, we reserve the right to introduce fees for our services in the future. If charges are introduced, the users will be notified in advance and given the option to continue using the platform under the updated terms or discontinue their use without incurring any fees. By submitting documentation, freelancers consent to abide by these Terms, including all applicable policies and requirements.
- Event Organizers: Companies and event organizers who wish to submit staffing requests through our platform must first acknowledge and accept these Terms in full. By doing so, they agree to comply with all payment obligations directly to freelancers for completed services as per pre-negotiated terms. Event organizers
expressly acknowledge that Global Poker Staff Ltd does not guarantee any freelance engagements and disclaims responsibility for the terms of payment, work conditions, or performance standards agreed upon with freelancers. Non- compliance with these Terms may result in restricted access or termination of account privileges.
5.Data Collection and Verification
In accordance with Article5(1)oftheGeneralDataProtectionRegulation(GDPR) and our internal data accuracy standards, freelancers are required to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date personal and professional information. This may include, but is not limited to, identity verification documents, employment records, qualifications, and other relevant data. Any submission of false, misleading, or incomplete information, or failure to meet verification standards, may result in the denial or termination of platform access.
Global Poker Staff Ltd reserves the right to independently verify the authenticity of any information submitted and, in doing so, may employ internal procedures or engage third- party verification services in compliance with GDPR standards. Users agree to cooperate fully in any verification process. To preserve platform integrity, Global Poker Staff Ltd reserves the right to take necessary corrective actions, including but not limited to account suspension, restriction of services, or permanent termination, should any data discrepancies or fraudulent activity be identified.
6.Freelancer Responsibilities
Freelancers acknowledge that, while on assignment through our platform, they serve as representatives of Global Poker Staff Ltd and are required to adhere strictly to our CodeofConduct or other established Guidelines. These documents outline standards for professionalism, punctuality, adherence to event-specific requirements, and ethical conduct. Freelancers agree to review, understand, and always comply with these standards while engaged in assignments secured through the platform.
• Code of Conduct -: Freelancers must conduct themselves professionally and in alignment with the standards expected by both Global Poker Staff Ltd and event organizers. Failure to adhere to the Code of Conduct or Guidelines may result in disciplinary measures, including account suspension or termination.
- No Guarantee of Work Assignments: Freelancers expressly acknowledge that inclusion in the Global Poker Staff Ltd database does not guarantee any work assignments, compensation, or specific job opportunities. All placements are determined by event organizer demand, job criteria, and individual freelancer qualifications.
- Liability for Personal Conduct: Freelancers agree that they are individually liable for their own conduct and actions while on assignment, and they release Global Poker Staff Ltd from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their performance, conduct, or behavior at any event. In accordance with Section 13 ofthe Employment Rights Act 1996 (UK), freelancers further acknowledge that they are not entitled to statutory employment protections as their engagements are strictly freelance and project based.
By accepting these Terms, freelancers confirm their understanding of the responsibilities, standards, and limitations associated with their participation in Global Poker Staff’s platform. Non-compliance may result in the removal from our database, without liability to Global Poker Staff Ltd for any losses incurred by the freelancer because of such removal.
7.Company Responsibilities
Event organizers (hereinafter referred to as “organizers”) utilizing Global Poker Staff’s platform agree to comply with the following responsibilities, recognizing that Global Poker Staff Ltd operates solely as an intermediary:
- Payment Obligations: Organizers are solely responsible for fulfilling all payment obligations directly with freelancers in accordance with the terms agreed upon prior
to each event. Organizers understand that payment terms, including amount, timing, and method, are established exclusively between organizers and freelancers and that Global Poker Staff Ltd has no role in enforcing, overseeing, or intervening in payment arrangements.
- Ethical Conduct and Clear Communication: Organizers are expected to conduct all engagements with freelancers in an ethical, respectful, and lawful manner. Organizers are required to communicate expectations, duties, professional conduct standards, and any relevant policies or guidelines related to the event clearly and transparently. Organizers must ensure that all freelancers are informed of specific responsibilities, anticipated working conditions, and any requirements necessary to fulfill the engagement. Failure to maintain ethical conduct may result in the organizer’s removal from our platform.
- AcknowledgmentofLimitedRoleofGlobalPokerStaff: Organizers acknowledge that Global Poker Staff Ltd does not enforce payment terms, nor does it guarantee the execution or outcome of any contractual agreements between organizers and freelancers. Global Poker Staff’s role is strictly limited to facilitating the initial placement process, and the platform assumes no liability or obligation in relation to contractual performance, payment disputes, or employment standards compliance, in accordance with Section 2(1) of the Unfair Contract Terms Act1977(UK).
8.Payment Terms
- Freelancers: Our services are free of charge. However, we reserve the right to introduce fees for our services in the future. If charges are introduced, the users will be notified in advance and given the option to continue using the platform under the updated terms or discontinue their use without incurring any fees. By submitting documentation, freelancers consent to abide by these Terms, including all applicable policies and requirements.
• EventOrganizers: Payment terms governing engagements between organizers and freelancers are negotiated directly between the parties prior to each event. Organizers bear the sole and exclusive responsibility for compensating freelancers upon satisfactory completion of services rendered. Global Poker Staff Ltd is not a party to these financial arrangements and shall not be held liable for ensuring, guaranteeing, or enforcing payments to freelancers, pursuant to Section 13 of theSupplyofGoodsand ServicesAct1982(UK). In cases of non-payment or payment disputes, freelancers and organizers are encouraged to seek independent resolution or pursue remedies under applicable contractual law.
9.Code of Conduct
Freelancers registered on the Global Poker Staff Ltd platform must review, accept, and adhere to our Code of Conduct. This document specifies professional behavior standards, ethical expectations, and performance guidelines essential to maintaining the reputation, integrity, and quality of Global Poker Staff’s platform and services.
- Professional Expectations and Behavior Standards: Freelancers are required to conduct themselves with integrity, professionalism, and respect toward both organizers and participants. The Code of Conduct includes, but is not limited to, expectations of punctuality, respectful communication, adherence to event-specific policies, and compliance with all lawful requirements.
- MandatoryAdherenceandConsequencesofNon-Compliance: Compliance with the Code of Conduct is mandatory for all freelancers. Global Poker Staff Ltd reserves the right to impose disciplinary actions in cases of non-compliance or violations of the Code of Conduct. Disciplinary actions may include temporary suspension, restriction of access, or permanent termination from the platform, at Global Poker Staff’s sole discretion. Freelancers acknowledge that any disciplinary action is final and that Global Poker Staff Ltd is not liable for any loss of income or opportunity resulting from suspension or termination.
• Liability Waiver: By accepting these Terms, freelancers waive any right to hold Global Poker Staff Ltd liable for consequences arising from their failure to adhere to the Code of Conduct, including potential loss of engagement opportunities, damage to professional reputation, or other claims that may result from enforcement of conduct standards.
Freelancers and organizers alike acknowledge that adherence to these Terms, including the Code of Conduct, is essential to preserving the integrity of the Global Poker Staff Ltd platform and agree to uphold these standards to ensure a safe, productive, and professional environment for all users.
10.Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Global Poker Staff Ltd disclaims all liability for any damage, losses, claims, or costs arising from or related to the use of our platform, except as otherwise explicitly provided under UK law. This limitation of liability includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- JobPlacementGuarantees: Global Poker Staff Ltd provides no guarantee, warranty, or assurance regarding the availability, frequency, or duration of job placements. We make no representations about rates of pay, income potential, or the continuity of work opportunities for freelancers. Use of our platform does not constitute an employment relationship, and no reliance on specific placement outcomes is warranted or implied.
- DisputesandPaymentIssues: We expressly disclaim any responsibility for resolving, mediating, or arbitrating disputes between freelancers and event organizers, including those arising from payment discrepancies, breach of contract claims, or differences in agreed-upon terms. Global Poker Staff Ltd assumes no duty to intervene in any financial or contractual matters between freelancers and organizers,
pursuant to Section 2(1) of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 (UK), limiting liability for non-performance or breaches of user agreements.
- Event-RelatedComplications: Global Poker Staff Ltd assumes no liability for any issues, misconduct, performance deficiencies, or other complications arising from events not directly managed, organized, or overseen by Global Poker Staff. This includes, but is not limited to, allegations of misconduct by freelancers or organizers, dissatisfaction with job performance, or breaches of engagement terms.
By accepting these Terms, you expressly waive and release Global Poker Staff Ltd from any liability, claims, damages, or losses associated with your use of our platform. Users are encouraged to consult legal or professional advice if they require clarity on their contractual obligations or responsibilities arising from engagements facilitated through Global Poker Staff.
11.Termination and Account Suspension
Global Poker Staff Ltd reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate user accounts without prior notice if any of the following conditions apply:
- Breach of Terms: Users found to be in breach of these Terms, including but not limited to violations of the Code of Conduct, provision of false information, or failure to fulfill their contractual responsibilities, are subject to immediate account suspension or termination.
- Compromise of Platform Integrity: Any action by a user that, in Global Poker Staff’s sole determination, compromises the security, integrity, reputation, or lawful operation of the platform, or that poses a risk to other users, may result in immediate suspension or termination of the user’s account.
- Final and Binding Nature of Termination: Decisions by Global Poker Staff Ltd to suspend or terminate user accounts are final and binding. Users whose accounts
are suspended or terminated for violations of these Terms irrevocably forfeit any remaining access to platform benefits, features, or services, without entitlement to refund or compensation for any administrative fees previously paid.
Users whose accounts are terminated for cause are prohibited from re-registering or accessing the platform under a different name or account. In cases of suspected fraudulent or malicious activity, Global Poker Staff Ltd reserves the right to pursue any available legal remedies, including seeking damages and filing complaints with relevant authorities.
By using our platform, you agree to comply with these Terms, and you acknowledge Global Poker Staff’s right to enforce these provisions to protect the interests and integrity of the platform and its users.
12.Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service, including any disputes arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform and services provided by GlobalPokerStaff, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
You agree that any legal actions, suits, or proceedings brought in connection with these Terms, including disputes concerning the interpretation, enforcement, or alleged breach thereof, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom. By using our platform, you irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction of these courts and waive any objections based on venue, forum non convenient, or other jurisdictional grounds.
13.Dispute Resolution
Global Poker Staff Ltd is committed to promoting constructive resolution of disputes. To this end, users are encouraged to resolve any disagreements amicably through direct
communication. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the following process applies:
- MandatoryArbitrationorMediation: Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, users agree to engage in arbitration or mediation in accordance with the applicable laws and procedures of the United Kingdom. Arbitration or mediation servesasamandatory preliminary step, and parties must exhaust this process before initiating litigation. This requirement aligns with the Arbitration Act 1996 (UK), which governs arbitration proceedings within the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom.
- Costs and Fees: Each party shall bear its own costs associated with arbitration or mediation, unless otherwise directed by the appointed arbitrator or mediator. Any fees or costs levied by the arbitration or mediation service will be shared equally by the parties, unless otherwise specified in the arbitrator’s or mediator’s final ruling.
- Binding Resolution: If arbitration is chosen, the decision rendered by the arbitrator shall be binding on all parties involved and enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction. Users waive the right to participate in a class action, representative, or collective proceeding and agree that any claim will be resolved on an individual basis.
Global Poker Staff Ltd reserves the right to take immediate legal action in the courts of the United Kingdom in cases involving injunctive relief or matters affecting the platform’s integrity, data security, or intellectual property rights.
